Editor's Note: I am fairly confident that Henry Harrington was Joel's younger brother.  It seems Allen has thrown church on Sundays over for drives with Alice. :-)

"Killed my pig."  Tra la la.  I notice the use of the possessive is different than the usual the or a.  It is his pig now--he's married and running his own farm.

Comments

  1. I went to a pig killing at Jim Murphy's house when I did my internship with State Senator Jess Present. Good times.

  2. This is fantastic ! Thank you so much for this blog I just discovered today. The Harringtons you mention are my ancestors -- Joel Harrington is my great-grandfather and I was named for him. --Joel (and yes Henry is Joel's younger brother)
