A Day in the Life: May 25th


(Aged 14)
Wea.                                         MON. MAY 25, 1896               Ther. 

Went to school.  Got a licking for chewing tobacco + lying.


(Aged 16)
Wea.                                          WED. MAY 25, 1898               Ther.

Mrs. Mason went home.  Went to factory.  Stayed at home in P.M.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                             THU. MAY 25, 1899               Ther.

Rode my wheel to school.  Got a letter from Mable White.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              FRI. MAY 25, 1900                 Ther.

Painted on the barn.  In eve went up to Frank Warn’s stayed all night.


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              SAT. MAY 25, 1901                Ther.

Drilled in my corn about 12 acres.  Pa, Ma + Rollie went to town and brought us back a quart of strawberries the first we have seen.  Alice went up home.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               SUN.  MAY 25, 1902                Ther.

Rainy.  Stayed at home all day.  Gail went to factory then took his girl up home from Fullers.


(Aged 21)
Wea.                                              MON.  MAY 25, 1903                  Ther.

Went over Emery hill with the meat wagon.

Editor's Note:  There seems to be an ongoing struggle with all forms of tobacco in the house between both Allen and his father Frank.
