A Day in the Life:  December 31st

Wea.                                            THU. DEC. 31, 1896               Ther.

Charley + I cut bolts in the A.M. + part of the P.M.  Put up 1 1/4 cd.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                            SAT. DEC. 31, 1898                 Ther.

Went to factory.  came home and loaded some cartridges.  In P.M. Ma,  Rollie and I went over to grandma’s I went hunting with the rifle the cartridge busted and part of it went up in the barrel so I can’t get it out so this ended my hunting for this year.

Wea.                                             SUN. DEC. 31, 1899                 Ther.

Stayed at home in A.M. In P.M. went to S.S. at Ivory.  In eve went up to Frank Warn’s to watch the old year out had a fine time.  There was about 10 of us there.  Asked Alice Warn to go to a party up to Hermy Anderson’s next Tues. eve.  She is going.

Wea.                                              MON. DEC. 31, 1900               Ther.

Helped draw 2 loads of manure.  Went down to the burg for a sleigh ride + then went up to Irma’s to a watch party.  Came home about 1 o’clock. XX



(Aged 20)
Wea.                                              TUE. DEC. 31, 1901                Ther.

Went to the burg with a grist.  Took 23 bags.  Grandma went down with me.
