Charley + I cut 1 1 /4 cd in A.M.  In P.M. laid still.

Wea.                                          THU. DEC. 22, 1898               Ther.

Rode down to school with ma.  She + Mrs. Mason went to town.  Rode home with Ma.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                           FRI. DEC. 22, 1899               Ther.

Left Mathison’s and went to Chase + Bement School where we show tonight.  Took dinner at Henry Roswell’s.  Went up to Nick Grave’s to get my crutch.  It is a dandy.  Weighs about 1, 000  lbs. In eve took in $1.00.

Wea.                                           SAT. DEC. 22, 1900                 Ther.

In A.M. helped Frankie Kineston fix the house in front of Smith’s.   Paid Jim $2.  In P.M. drew wood for Pa + Grandma.  In eve went to bed.

Stayed at home all day.



(Aged 21)
Wea.                                             MON.  DEC. 22, 1902             Ther.

Put a roof on hog pen.  In eve Dave + I went to town.  Got Alice a fur.

Editor's Note:  Alice wins!  Oh dear, I so hope it wasn't the fur coat I destroyed.  :(  It was rotten.  It was rotten.  It really was but I still feel awful, what if it was this very one?
