A Day in the Life: August 6th


(Aged 14)
Wea.                                            THU. AUG. 6, 1896               Ther.

Fred Slater + I began sawing wood at 8 A.M. and quit at 5 P.M. We put up 2 cord.  Ma went down to Aunt Em’s.


(Aged 16)
Wea.                                            SAT. AUG. 6, 1898                 Ther.

Played croquette again.  Came home about 4 o’clock P.M. got here about 7 o’clcok P.M. + pa + I got Ezra Thayer to hive a swarm of bees that Chas. Slater gave me.

Wea.                                             SUN. AUG. 6, 1899                 Ther.

In A.M. went over to grandma’s.  In P.M. went to S.S.  In eve went to the burg with Leon Page.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              MON. AUG. 6, 1900               Ther.

Began reaping.  In eve Frank Warn, Glendine Taylor,  Alice and I took a drive.  Went past John Smedley’s.


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              TUE. AUG. 6, 1901                Ther.

Reaped the piece next to Wygren’s in A.M.  In P.M. got the tires set on the milk wagon.  Frankie helped Springer bind oats.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               WED.  AUG. 6, 1902             Ther.

Ma, Rollie, Alice and the baby went over to Corydon.  Paid Jim Howard up.


(Aged 21)

Wea.                                              THU.  AUG. 6, 1903                 Ther.


NO ENTRY AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 10th
