Editor's Note: The entrepreneurial spirit was alive and well in young Allen--buy a camera and sell the pictures back to people with the added benefit of girls giggling over you.  I wonder what Allen told Alice  about the events of his day that evening during their romantic ride?  Since I believe he and Bess were an item during his "break" with Alice back in February,  I'll be willing to bet that he left it at "printed photos all day".  Had a "fine time" in the woods indeed and, for the record, you know this was all suspect behavior on his part because he even mentions that his Pa came home before the girls had left.

OMG!  Am on the phone with Diana as she reads this and she starts roaring with laughter.  I was so hung up on the teenage shenanigans I missed the best line ever.  "Barbed wire and Baby Buggy".  Two things that should NEVER be in the same sentence.
