Editor's Note:
In 1899, Allen continues to use church as his means to access girls.  Elsie was Elsie Foster.  She never married that I could find but became a school teacher and cared for her widowed mother Mary.  Otis Moore's baby would have been Edward Moore born in November 1898.  For many years to come the Moore's owned the hardware store in Frewsburg, NY.  It's fun to see that as long as teenage girls are babysitting, teenage boys will want to drop by.

Frank is recovering well from his operation in 1901 and in 1903 his Grand Jury stint seems to be complete.

The $75 note that Allen took out seems worrying when one sees he extends it a year later.

Comments

  1. It is interesting to me to see that the use of church as a means of hanging with the opposite sex is apparently in our DNA.

  2. PS The photo of the Ivory Church was taken by Mable Cass Lucas with her Kodack 126 instamatic.
