Rode my wheel to school + over into the burg.

Drove to school.

Wea.                                             SAT. SEPT. 9, 1899               Ther.

NO ENTRY AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 2nd.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              SUN. SEPT. 9, 1900                 Ther.

Went up to see a friend of mine.  Told her a few fibs about my trip to Toronto.  I did see some very slick girls but a certain person don’t think that makes any difference because she thinks I am stuck on her.

(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              MON. SEPT. 9, 1901                Ther.

Got 7 pigs of Andrew for $12 brought them home and cut them.  In eve went up to L.Taylor’s to a donation.  I gave $1.00.  He got $117.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               TUE.  SEPT. 9, 1902             Ther.

Gail helped Springer fill his silo in A.M.  In P.M. he cleaned up the barn floor.  Pa + Ma came over.  It rained all day hard.  I went up to the store + got some sugar.

Editor's Note:  Just three days ago (in 1900) Allen was longing to see Alice when he returned from his Canadian adventure and yet today, in 1900, he is giving her a hard time about what he was up to in Toronto.  He is soooo totally stuck on her and Alice does know it.
