Will Burns came over he has been to Ohio all summer.  We thrashed today had 168 bu of oats.

Wea.                                          THU. AUG. 25, 1898               Ther.

In A.M. Vernie White, Leo Reeves, Mable + I went boatriding.  In P.M. it rained.  My boil is very sore and is a carbuncle.

Wea.                                           FRI. AUG. 25, 1899               Ther.

Canvassed all day.  Sold one.

Wea.                                           SAT. AUG. 25, 1900                 Ther.

In A.M. went to the factory and took a calf down to the burg.  In P.M. umpired a ballgame at Fentonville between them + Ivory.   Ivory won 13-16.  In eve went to a republican rally in the burg.

Stayed at home all day.



(Aged 20)
Wea.                                             MON.  AUG. 25, 1902             Ther.

Drew in our oats had 12 load.  Pa + Laurence helped us.  Bought...

NO ENTRY AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 10th

Editor's Note:  Well a book has finally been sold!  I find the whole idea of going door-door to see who is interested in the conquest of the Philippines a serious crap shoot when it comes to making a living.  So do we think it was a pity purchase?  Perhaps.   Okay, very likely.
