We came home.  I helped stack 2 loads of oats.

Went to factory.  Stayed at home all day.  In eve Pa, Ma + Rollie went up to the Hollow to meeting.

Wea.                                             TUE. AUG. 15, 1899               Ther.

Started a stand in Celeron.  Stayed with Luce all night.

Hung around home all day.  Got a letter that Cora was coming but she didn’t.

Cut brush all day.  Pa + Ma went to the Ox roast at Corydon.

Wea.                                               FRI.  AUG. 15, 1902             Ther.

Drew in 2 load of hay.

NO ENTRY MADE AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 10th.

Editor's Note: You've got to love the gumption of a kid that starts his own stand when he can't find work elsewhere.  But I think the there is some shortsightedness involved.  What is his stand?  Lemonade; fruit; falafel?  What is his business model?  We shall see.
