An Embarrassment of Genealogical Riches

This is what I face everyday and while I am not ungrateful for this legacy, I am overwhelmed by the process of sorting its importance.  Stacks, boxes, photos...Well, I am very lucky to have someone coming to help me get started tomorrow.


From Frank to Allen to Mable to Dad to us not to mention the other line too which gave us the Checkered Chicken AKA The Lucas Chicken (very old: so says the yellowed note inside her belly).
