Editor's Note: Now I am not saying Allen doesn't know his own mind but I am certain he doesn't have a clue how fast word got around Carroll that he was no longer with Bessie much less that Alice had kept her torch for him well tended. Alice's return is beautifully timed. She doesn't even give him a day to let his breakup settle much less wait around to see if he'd come calling on her. I can just imagine Alice's courage and determination growing with each step bringing her closer to Allen.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Frank Warn for having a party so Alice had a ruse to get Allen's attention back on her where it belonged. Think of all the people who would never have been if Alice Warn didn't take charge of her own destiny!
