A Day in the Life: December 13th


(Aged 15)
Wea.                                           SUN. DEC. 13, 1896               Ther. 

Pa + Ma + Rollie went over to grandma’s.  Charley + I stayed at home.  Charley learned to ride my wheel in the yard today.  It is a very nice, warm day.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                            TUE. DEC. 13, 1898               Ther.

Drove to school.  Ma rode down with me + went to Mrs. Mason's.  My boil is better. 



(Aged 18)
Wea.                                             WED. DEC. 13, 1899               Ther.

Went over into Rome Township to bill but didn’t bill any because we couldn’t get the places.  In eve showed at Clement School.  Took in $2.15. Stayed all night at Mr. Conner’s.


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              THU. DEC. 13, 1900                 Ther.

Drew grandma and ourselves a load of wood.  In P.M. stayed at home.  Paid Jim $3.00.  Mearle stayed with me.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                              FRI. DEC. 13, 1901                Ther.

Went to the factory.  Ray went to the burg got 2300 of coal at $2.80 a ton.


(Aged 21)
Wea.                                               SAT.  DEC. 13, 1902             Ther.

Went to factory.  Drew one load of bolts then quit for it stormed so.

Editor's Note: I really don't understand his measurement of coal.  Was it 2300 lbs?  $23.00?  Confused.
