(Aged 14)
Wea.                                            THU. OCT. 29, 1896               Ther.

Went to school.



(Aged 16)
Wea.                                            SAT. OCT. 29, 1898                 Ther.

Went hunting about 2 hrs then husked corn.  Ma, Rollie + grandma went over to Unkle Lewis.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                             SUN. OCT. 29, 1899                 Ther.

Stayed about the house in A.M. Wrote a letter home + one to Richmond to have my mail returned.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              MON. OCT. 29, 1900               Ther.

Went to school all day. Wrote Alice a letter in the evening.


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              TUE. OCT. 29, 1901                Ther.

Will + I went after lumber again got 1216ft.  That is all I want.  Will plowed.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               WED.  OCT. 29, 1902             Ther.

Worked on road drawing gravel.



(Aged 21)
Wea.                                              THU.  OCT. 29, 1903                 Ther.

Went over to (?) Eddy’s to look at a cow. (shakey hand)

Editor's Note: Which Richmond was he getting his mail returned from I wonder?  His last pipe dream was West Virginia, if I recall but that's not Virgina and somehow I don't see him forwarding his mail to Staten Island.  Am I being silly?  Was Richmond a person?
