Editor's Note: In 1896, Glen is most likely cousin Glen Eccles.  The folks who visited are the Stryker cousins from Corydon which made me revisit the late July entry "But is he one of OUR Babcocks" when Allen went boating with "Mabel, Leo, Verna and Walton".  I thought Walton was a Babcock and that Mabel was Mabel White given the mention of Verna as well but there was also Walton Servis mentioned above who had a sister Mabel and though they lived in NJ they obviously came to visit their grandparents in Corydon.  So...where does this leave me with the Mabel, Verna mystery?
