A Day in the Life: July 10th

(Aged 14)
Wea.                                            FRI. JULY 10, 1896               Ther. 

Stayed at home all day.  They came up after ma to go down + stay tonight with Aunt Em.

Wea.                                            SUN. JULY 10, 1898               Ther.

Went to factory then to bed.  Pa, Ma + Rollie went up the Hollow to S.S.  In eve went down to the burg to hear a Jew preach in the U.B. Chapel

Wea.                                             MON. JULY 10, 1899               Ther.

Worked all day.  In eve went over to Page’s then over in swimming at Harrington’s barn.

Wea.                                              TUE. JULY 10, 1900                 Ther.

Stayed at home all day.  In eve went up to Ray Lawson’s with Mearle Cowan.  Got a letter from Alice.



(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              WED. JULY 10, 1901                Ther.

Got in five loads of hay.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               THU.  JULY 10, 1902             Ther.

Mowed weeds + drew gravel.  Alice went up home.

Editor's Note:  Clearly having a Jewish person visit the burg seems to be a big deal or why point it out? However, it seems as he was met with hospitality.  I like that Allen enjoyed learning all he could.
He never seemed to miss a lecture or see the offerings of popular culture when they came to Jamestown.
