I should have checked with Diana this morning before I posted because, of course, look what she has...
It sure looks like the Boy Phenomenon had a branch office in Jamestown. Maybe, like department store Santas acting as stand-ins for the real deal, there may have been a "Boy Phenomenon" in every town. In this case, I suspect he had periodic shows to draw in the punters. Maybe, when you took a numbered envelope they recorded your ailment. Because it says, "Show this envelope to Usher" to move to the front of the queue "when returning". Maybe Allen and Frank went to observe, took their envelope but ultimatly determined the Phenom nothing more than "a quack". Well done boys.
