Stayed at home.

Rained nearly all day.  We played games in the house.  My boil is very painful.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                             SAT. AUG. 26th 1899               Ther.

Canvassed all day.  Sold none.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              SUN. AUG. 26th 1900                 Ther.

Went to factory.  John Glaspy stayed all night last night all all day today.  In eve Alice + I went up to Unkle Gib’s.

Wea.                                              MON. AUG. 26th 1901                Ther.

Worked big team all day and little one for one hour.  Fred quit.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               TUE.  AUG. 26th 1902             Ther.

Drew in 2 loads of hay.  This finishes haying.  53 loads.  Got Maud + Dandy shod.  Sold my calves.  Bought 3 pigs of L. L?  Take them about three weeks
