A Day in the Life: August 22nd




(Aged 14)
Wea.  Cloudy                               SAT. AUG. 22, 1896               Ther.

In A.M. took a load of wood to Grandma Mason.  In P.M. went to a ball game up Frew Run between Tree Silver + Tree Gold.  The Tree Silvers beat 8-4.

Wea.                                             MON. AUG. 22, 1898               Ther.

Went to factory + slept all day.  In eve went up to Ivory to church.  Pa, Ma + Rollie went to church.

Canvassed all day. Sold none.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              WED. AUG. 22, 1900                 Ther.

Drew manure all day.  In eve got a letter from Alice.  Went to prayer meeting.  Went home with Alice.  Got home at 1:30.  Got a letter from F.E. Long.

Both teams worked on dredge.

Drew 2 loads of hay from pa’s.

Editor's Note: Ahem, Ahem I have gone to church, I am seeking out my true love on this holy moly search.   Not because she's pious and not because she's not.  Just because what I want is what she's got.
