Went to school.  Pa went to Jamestown.

Wea.                                          THU. DEC. 8, 1898               Ther.

Drove to school.  Stormy and cold.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                           FRI. DEC. 8, 1899               Ther.

Went to Delameter School house showed in eve took in $3.00.  Took supper with Mr. Baufer.  Stayed all night at Nellie McClure’s the school teacher’s. 


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                           SAT. DEC. 8, 1900                 Ther.

Glen, Rollie + I went hunting.  Glen killed a partridge.  Got a letter from Howard Wilson. 

Bummer the little guy missed the bus.

 

(Aged 20)
Wea.                                            SUN. DEC. 8, 1901                Ther.

Stayed at home all day.  Ray Harrington came to begin work.


(Aged 21)
Wea.                                             MON.  DEC. 8, 1902             Ther.

Took Alice over to Ma’s.  We worked in horse barn.

Editor's Note: I still think the Delameter school was in Crawford, PA. There is a large family of McClure's there including a Nellie but she was only one year older than Allen so likely not the school teacher.  I couldn't find Mr. Baufer.  Could be a misspelling.
