A Day in the Life: September 26th


(Aged 14)
Wea.                                             SAT. SEPT. 26, 1896               Ther.

Rode my wheel down to Brant’s + got my handle bars fixed.  Then I rode it up to Unkle Gibs. Ma, Grandma + Rollie drove up.  I came home by Mud Creek.  I got about a quart of chestnuts.

Went to factory.  Husk 4 bu of corn.  In eve went down to the burg with Leon Page.

Wea.                                             TUE. SEPT. 26, 1899               Ther.

NO ENTRY MADE AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 2nd.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              WED. SEPT. 26, 1900                 Ther.

Rode to school with Gordon.  In eve studied till 9.30.



(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              THU. SEPT. 26, 1901                Ther.

Henry Harrington cut corn.  Ray Harrington set up.  Broke the milk wagon + had to get it fixed. 

(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               FRI.  SEPT. 26, 1902             Ther.

Worked on silo.  Finished it.  Gail cut wood.


(Aged 21)
Wea.                                              SAT.  SEPT. 26, 1903                  Ther.

NO ENTRY MADE AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 10th.

  1. Funny to read this. I just finished picking chestnuts up in my backyard. Previous owner planted American and Chinese Chestnut trees. I love gathering them!
