Husked 10 bu. of corn, pa about 11, Charley 9 bu.  In evening went over to grandma’s.

Went to school.  Rode with Ada Page.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                             TUE. OCT. 24, 1899               Ther.

Worked all day driving team + in the packing house.  In eve had a date with Laura Raynerd but didn’t keep it.

Wea.                                              WED. OCT. 24, 1900                 Ther.

Worked all day drawing manure.


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              THU. OCT. 24, 1901                Ther.

Got out stringers and husked corn.  Pearle went to a party up to France Long’s.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               FRI.  OCT. 24, 1902             Ther.

Plowed. I watched cows.

Editor's Note: Laura Raynerd may have been Laura Reonnard born in 1876 in Portland, NY.  Not sure why Allen would back out except that he was just fooling around with the other girl.


I'm guess maybe Pearle is staying with Allen + Alice since we know more of her whereabouts than we ordinarily would.  That makes since since Alice is nearing the end of her first pregnancy so it would have been nice to have her sister nearby.
