Went to school.

Went to factory then husk corn till noon at home then went over to the other place +husk.  Ma + Rollie went over to grandma’s.  I tried to drive Topsie down the bridge out of the barn with a load of corn + run off + broke a fill.

Stayed about the house all day.

Worked all day drawing stone and cornstalks.  It is Institute Week.

I worked on the road.  Will got out stringers.  Chas. husked.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               WED.  OCT. 22, 1902             Ther.

Gail worked in ditch.  I watched cows + went up to John Smedley’s  Alice went up home.


(Aged 21)

Went up to farm killed a rabbit.  Brought down Clint’s baby Jennifer and Dorothy liked it first straight.  Alice got up again.

Editor's Note: I thought Clint moved on but it is nice that little Dorothy Cass liked his baby.
