A Day in the Life: August 18th

Wea. TUE. AUG. 18, 1896 Ther.
They came after ma to stay all night with Aunt Em. They thought she would die but she is better this morning. Pa took the little bay down + got her shod + seen Aunt Em.

Wea. rainy THU. AUG. 18, 1898 Ther.
Went to factory then went hunting up by Harrington’s dam.

Wea. FRI. AUG. 18, 1899 Ther.
Worked in the stand.

Wea. SAT. AUG. 18, 1900 Ther.
Stayed at home in A.M. In P.M. went to a ball game and picnic on Ed Harrington’s.
Score: Fentonville 13 Ivory16. Bertha Fuller & Irma Bunce were there. In eve went up to Ivory.

Wea. SUN. AUG. 18, 1901 Ther.
Stayed at home all day.

Wea. MON. AUG. 18, 1902 Ther.
Alton Bunce worked all day. I reaped pa’s oats. The boys put in 3 loads. Alice + I went to town to get the binder twine.

NO ENTRY AGAIN UNTIL OCTOBER 10th
Editor's Note: Poor Aunt Em lives to suffer another day. How hard it must have been for all of them to wait and nurse and yet no there was no hope. Well jolly, jolly. Get out and enjoy your hopefully beautiful late summer day.
