Editor's Note: I have found that the Egg Social would have been held on Good Friday. Easter fell on the 15th in 1900 but no holidays were printed in the calendar. I only know if they are meaningful to Allen if he actually writes them in as in "April Fools Day". He doesn't mention the connection of Easter and eggs but I figured it had to be. I wish I knew what piece he spoke. This is the first inkling that he would be a public figure.
