THE FIRE BRIGADE?

For this week’s Photo Fantasy Friday I have selected a photo that I discovered after my father’s death in 1999. That’s Richard Cass Lucas front row on the left. I would want to walk into this photo and say a couple of things to my father like: “I never knew you were volunteer fireman.” (I am assuming that is what this group is, if I am wrong please tell me) or “Dad, why don’t you have a beard and cool tie like all the other guys?”

I would dearly love to know what this photo is about. Whatever it is, it looks like a good time was had by all and I hope that this tradition is carried on to this day in Frewsburg. Dear distant cousins please get me up to speed on this.
