A Day in the Life: March 12th

Wea. Cold THU. MARCH 12, 1896 Ther.
Stayed at home. Aunt Em + Blaine came up.

Glen + Frank were down yesterday.
In P.M. went hunting killed a woodpecker and several small birds. In evening there was a surprise party on pa + ma it being their 19 wedding anniversary about 70 over here.

Stayed at home all day. Ma + Rollie went up to S.S. at Ivory.

Rode to school with Gordon Taylor.

NO ENTRY AGAIN UNTIL MAY 22nd.

Lawrence helped Gail cut wood over here. Mrs. Page came down.

NO ENTRY MADE AGAIN UNTIL MAY 1st
Editor's Note: Allen finally gets his birds too bad they aren't sounding edible and there is a much bigger deal going on with his parents' anniversary. It's amazing to think that after that party in 1898, Frank and Nora would have another 34 years together. They weren't even half way through their love story.
