Thanks for this photo. My husband and I live in the Old Thayer Farm just down the road from Valley Gate. I have enjoyed this blog immensely. I too often live in the imagined past. It's easier to picture life, as it was back then, with the diary entries and your other musings. Thanks again. Susan M.
