McKinley is elected.  Went to school.


(Aged 16)
Wea.                                             FRI. NOV. 4, 1898               Ther.

Went to school.  Luella rode home with me. Pa sold an old cow for $25.  She goes Monday.  Second rhetorical division recited today.


(Aged 17)
Wea.                                             SAT. NOV. 4, 1899               Ther.

Finished grapes today.  I drew to the depot in A.M.  In P.M. loaded a car.  In eve played cards.  Didn’t go down to see Lizzie tonight as her sister Dim is worse.


(Aged 18)
Wea.                                              SUN. NOV. 4, 1900                 Ther.

Slept in A.M. Went to S.S. in P.M.  Went for a drive in the evening.  Got home at twelve. xx


(Aged 19)
Wea.                                              MON. NOV. 4, 1901                Ther.

Drew gravel for the road at $2.50 per day.


(Aged 20)
Wea.                                               TUE.  NOV. 4, 1902             Ther.

Took Alice down to the burg to a chicken dinner.  Election day.  Gail plowed.
