Sunday Smiles
Puppy Love
In the summer of 2006 I took my two daughters to visit their Cass cousins. While we were there in the birthplace of Summer, our cousins adopted a baby pug named Mary. That's my daughter on the right and Mary in the middle. Neither one of them looks like they do in this photo any more. I love this photo because upstate New York has that lush soft grass you can roll around in with a puppy and the lovely smell sticks to your hair and skin for the rest of the day. Sadly, we lack that coolness here in Florida. The grass is unloving and unkind. And the summers are nothing but a hot mess of pea soup.
